Thinking Outside the Box, and Not Fearing Change
This is the "Power of Inspiration"

The foundation of our R&D is "Power of inspiration."
The power to discover valuable clues for solving problems lies in thinking outside the box and being willing to boldly changing conventional methods. One example of this principle is the "Epoxy Sheet Encapsulant" we developed. By Creating the encapsulant in the form of a gel, we were able to resolve the seemingly conflicting issue of maintaining enough fluidity to properly fit the shape of required components, while ensuring it would not flow into undesired areas. With the use of rheology control technology able to precisely regulate material deformation and fluid viscosity, combined with our extensive experience and knowledge of the properties of epoxy resins, we achieved a breakthrough that shattered conventional limitations.
Our next inspiration was to go one step further and transform the material into a sheet form. Liquid Encapsulants had previously been cumbersome to handle due to dirt particles adhesion and cleaning difficulties. However, the material was treated as if it were just another component, completely changed complex processes involved in electronic parts production into far more efficient ones. The innovative use of our "power of inspiration" has resulted in a revolutionary new product lines that create new values.

Research and Development System Coordinated with the NAGASE Group

The product development divisions in each business department and the corporate new development department, which focuses on creating new businesses and providing technical support to business departments, are responsible for research and development activities.
The product development divisions in the business departments work closely with customers to accurately identify their needs and quickly develop and improve new products.
Additionally, the corporate new development department seeks to enter new business fields by monitoring technological trends and market demands through cross-functional task forces within the company, collaborating with the NAGASE Group, as well as partnering with universities and research institutions.
