(Headquarters: Kita-ku, Okayama; Representative Director: Naoki Yasuba), a member of the NAGASE Group, has received the highest Platinum rating for two consecutive years in a sustainability survey conducted by EcoVadis (Headquarters: France), one of the world’s most trusted providers of business sustainability ratings for global supply chains. The "Platinum" rating is awarded to companies that overall score in the top 1% of all eligible companies*.
In this latest assessment, we maintained our high score in the area of Environment and increased our scores in the areas of Ethics and Sustainable Procurement. We believe this was behind our achieving the Platinum rating for two consecutive years.
EcoVadis is a trustworthy public platform that assesses suppliers operating in 185+ countries across 250+ industries, and assessment results are tested on over 150,000 companies. EcoVadis conducts objective and inclusive assessment of companies’ sustainability through independent reviews and analysis in four themes: Environment, Labor & Human Rights, Ethics, and Sustainable Procurement. Nagase Viita received a Gold rating in 2022, a Silver rating in 2023, and a Platinum rating in 2024*.
