System

We have established the Risk Management and Compliance Committee, chaired by the President & Representative Director. The secretariat of the Committee is responsible for promoting risk management and compliance initiatives, including those related to "Respect for Human Rights," by managing progress and reporting to the Committee. We also work in collaboration with the Risk Management Department, the Human Resources Department, and other relevant divisions to execute related operations.
In line with the NAGASE Group, we have adopted the "Code of Conduct for Risk Management & Compliance," which goes beyond compliance with laws and regulations to include corporate ethics. Based on this code, we are working to establish, disseminate, and firmly establish a risk management and compliance system.

Human Rights Due Diligence

The NAGASE Group supports the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights and conducts human rights due diligence in line with the Guiding Principles.

Human Rights Due Diligence for Employees
We conduct an engagement survey of our employees. Questions include those related to employees’ human rights, such as organizational climate, human resources, facility environment, and institutional treatment, to confirm compliance with respect for human rights as stipulated in the NAGASE Group Basic Human Rights Policy.

Human Rights Due Diligence in Business Activities and Supply Chain
As part of our commitment to responsible supply chain management, we conduct questionnaire-based surveys and on-site audits to assess and address potential risks.

Training / Awareness-raising Activities

We have clearly stated respect for human rights in the "the NAGASE Group Code of Conduct for Risk Management & Compliance" and ensure that it is distributed and communicated to employees via our internal intranet. It is also published on our company website, where we request the cooperation of stakeholders in understanding and adhering to these principles.
Our company is committed to preventing workplace harassment, including sexual harassment and power harassment.

We ensure that harassment does not occur, whether intentional or unintentional, by mandating training on harassment prevention and compliance, and by regularly disseminating information related to compliance efforts.
