Nagase Viita Certified as a Food Education Best Practice Company 2026

  • Information

Nagase Viita has been certified as a Food Education Best Practice Company 2026 by the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries (MAFF), under its Food Education Best Practice Company program, in recognition of its efforts to improve employees’ dietary habits.

At the core of Nagase Viita’s management philosophy is the belief that employee health is essential to sustaining business performance. Physical and mental wellbeing is viewed as a critical foundation that enables employees to remain engaged, productive, and motivated over the long term—supporting sustainable corporate growth.

In line with this approach, Nagase Viita regularly provides Healthy Support Lunch menus at its employee cafeteria. These menus are developed by employees who are certified registered dietitians and feature seasonal ingredients. To further promote healthy eating habits, the company has also hosted a vegetable intake measurement event, the Veggie King Championship, aimed at raising awareness of daily vegetable consumption.

These initiatives led to the company’s certification.

Nagase Viita will continue to advance health promotion initiatives that go beyond day-to-day wellness, with a long-term focus on supporting the physical and mental wellbeing of its employees.
