Nagase Viita Co., Ltd. (Head Office: Kita-ku, Okayama City; Representative Director: Takahiko Mandai) has calculated the Carbon Footprint (CFP)* for its TREHA™ and AA2G™ product lines—recognized as environmentally conscious materials—by conducting Life Cycle Assessments (LCA)**. We are pleased to announce that these CFP calculations have been verified and assured to comply with the international standard ISO 14067 by SOCOTEC Certification Japan Co., Ltd., an internationally recognized certification body.
The verification was carried out by Nagase & Co., Ltd. (Head Office: Otemachi, Chiyoda-ku; Representative Director: Hiroyuki Ueshima). Within the NAGASE Group, the promotion of carbon-neutral management is accompanied by the implementation of LCA for strategic products. This verification marks a significant milestone in advancing those initiatives.
Going forward, the NAGASE Group will continue to enhance and disclose reliable environmental data, strengthening collaboration with business partners and contributing to the creation of environmental value across the entire supply chain.

*About Carbon Footprint (CFP):
CFP quantifies greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions throughout the entire life cycle of a product or service—from raw material extraction, manufacturing, distribution, and use, to disposal—expressed in terms of CO₂ equivalents. By visualizing environmental impact, CFP serves as a key indicator for both companies and consumers striving to make more sustainable choices.
**About Life Cycle Assessment (LCA):
LCA is a comprehensive method for evaluating multiple environmental impact categories, including carbon footprint, resource consumption, water usage, acidification, and eutrophication. By quantitatively analyzing the environmental burden of products and services throughout their life cycle, LCA supports sustainable product design and informed business decision-making.
