Nagase Viita’s water-soluble dietary fiber Fibryxa™ has been awarded the Judge Committee Chair’s Award in the Food Ingredients and Materials Category at the 10th Nursing Care Food & Smile Care Food Contest (organized by THE JAPAN FOOD JOURNAL Co., Ltd., supported by the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries). Fibryxa™ was highly praised for its stability as a powder that dissolves easily in water, enabling the addition of dietary fiber to food without altering its color or taste. Notably, in the 5th Nursing Care Food & Smile Care Food Contest held in 2019, our functional seasoning TREHA™ also received the Judge Committee Chair’s Award.

What is Fibryxa™ ?
From Food with Function Claims to care foods: Domestically produced water-soluble dietary fiber that does not sacrifice color or taste
Fibryxa™ is a water-soluble dietary fiber made from starch using proprietary enzymatic technology. Its aqueous solution is colorless and clear, with no off-flavors and almost no sweetness, ensuring it does not impact the original color or taste of ingredients. It can be widely incorporated into beverages and foods aimed at addressing the growing concern over insufficient dietary fiber intake. Additionally, notification has been successfully submitted for Fibryxa™ as a Food with Function Claims, with its main component, isomaltodextrin, as the functional substance.
