Here are some comments (excerpt) received from viewers around the world:

◆I was impressed that a biotech company which develops functional saccharides would focus on cultural curation of art and artifacts in addition to developing the trehalose in the food industry for example. The savings in time needed, and in cost is substantial but of additional interest the stability of the artifacts is greater. [Australia, Female, 70s, Retired associate professor]

◆I am very impressed by Nagase Viita Co., Ltd. for their efforts in finding ways to preserve fragments of the country's cultural heritage. I am happy that they are also working towards sharing their discoveries with the applications of trehalose with Southeast Asian countries. That would go a long way in helping them preserve and protect their own pieces of the past. [Philippines, Female, 50s, Homemaker]

◆I'm very interested in the uses of trehalose, but I'd like to find out more about it - it's clear that there wasn't enough time in the episode to really go in-depth there, and I'd definitely enjoy a full episode devoted to both trehalose and Nagase Viita in general.
