Nagase Viita Achieves Fifth Consecutive Recognition under KENKO Investment for Health

Nagase Viita Co., Ltd. has been recognized as one of the Outstanding Organizations of KENKO Investment for Health (Large Enterprise Category) under Japan’s KENKO Investment for Health program—a national initiative jointly administered by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) and the Nippon Kenko Kaigi*. This marks the company’s fifth consecutive recognition since its initial certification in 2022 and reflects continued improvement in its Survey on KENKO Investment for Health.

Nagase Viita has identified “enhancing employee engagement” as a key material issue and is advancing initiatives to create a workplace where employees can maintain both physical and mental wellbeing and perform at their full potential.

Improved Evaluation and Ongoing Initiatives

In this year’s Survey on KENKO Investment for Health, the company achieved an overall score of 55.4, up from 53.5 in the previous year and above the industry average of 52.1. This result reflects steady progress driven by the company’s Health and Productivity Management Promotion Committee, which continues to implement initiatives through a PDCA cycle (Plan, Do, Check, Act).

Key Initiatives in FY2025 (Certification Year 2026)

Under the theme “Providing the right support to those who need it,” Nagase Viita focused on the following initiatives to enhance health literacy:

  • Expert-led health education: Health seminars conducted by occupational physicians and other medical professionals

  • Support for healthier eating habits: “Healthy Support Lunch” menus supervised by registered dietitians, along with initiatives to assess estimated vegetable intake

  • Promotion of proactive health management: The “Health Challenge” program to encourage exercise habits and lifestyle improvements, with incentives for participation
