Nagase & Co., Ltd. and its group company Nagase (Europa) GmbH will exhibit at "The Battery Show Europe", a trade fair for battery technology and materials for xEVs, held at Messe Stuttgart in Stuttgart, Germany from June 18th (Wed) to 20th (Fri), 2024.
At this exhibition, we will showcase internal components for lithium-ion batteries (more than 10 items) and pack/module materials (4 items). As examples, we will exhibit the following products:
・Cellulose-Based Separator
Features: Compared to olefin-based separators, it offers high heat resistance, electrolyte retention properties, and low resistance, making it ideal for output applications.
・Advanced Materials
- Output Enhancers. Features include improved rate characteristics.
- Electrolyte Permeation Materials. Features include shortened injection process time.
- PVDF Alternative Binder. Features include an alternative to PVDF due to PFOS/PFAS-related concerns.
・Silicon Negative Electrode Material SiOx and PAA-Li Binder
Features: Negative electrode material with high capacity and high initial Coulombic efficiency (ICE), available for mass production; PAA-based binders enhancing the negative electrode material capability.
・Aluminum Current Collectors for Positive Electrodes and Carbon-Coated (CC) Foils
Features: High-quality aluminum current collectors made in Japan, and CC foils that contribute to improving the performance of LFP positive electrode cells.
