Our History

For over 190 years, NAGASE has connected customers to trusted automotive parts and solutions through our global network.
In 2024, we rebranded to better serve you, expanding our vision to become a comprehensive mobility solutions provider.

  1. 1960s

    Started a material sales business, primarily focused on resins for the automotive industry.

  2. 1980s

    Expanded business operations into North America.

  3. 1990s

    Established a specialized business department for the automotive-related business as part of the company's growth.

  4. 2000s

    Expanded business operations throughout China, starting in Guangzhou and extending to cities like Wuhan, Shanghai, and Tianjin. Also, ventured into the car electronics-related business.

  5. 2010s

    Expanded business operations in ASEAN with a focus on Thailand and extended operations to Indonesia, Vietnam, India, and other countries.

  6. 2010

    Invested in Atecs, a vertical insert molding manufacturer, in anticipation of the growing electric vehicle (EV) market.

  7. 2015

    Established a new division to align with the trends of CASE (Connected, Autonomous, Shared, and Electric) in the automotive industry.

  8. 2019

    Renamed the department to "Mobility Solutions Department" to address broader mobility industry challenges.

  9. 2024

    Integrated the entire mobility-related business of the NAGASE Group under on unified brand: "NAGASE Mobility".
