Introduction
In recent years, climate change and abnormal weather have become more frequent all over the world, and it has become important for companies to ensure that their business activities do not place a burden on the environment. NAGASE has also promoted activities to thoroughly protect the global and natural environment, such as by installing plants that can carry out recycling while manufacturing, reusing resources, and reducing metals. NAGASE is taking this idea even further by developing and manufacturing "wet process chemicals that reduce the environmental impact through their use." We will introduce some examples of new "sustainable chemicals" that utilize our technology that has supported cutting-edge fields that require nano-level precision processing.
Temporary Fixative and Adhesive Residue Cleaning Solution

NAGASE precision cleaning solutions can be used for the following applications
・Selectively removes substances that inhibit recycling, such as resin materials attached to plastics
・Protective films and temporary fixatives used in the manufacturing process: even those that are difficult to remove can be cleaned.
By removing resin such as epoxy, acrylic, and silicone contained in temporary fixatives and adhesives, NAGASE Precision Cleaning Solution can be used for batch chemical processing and yield improvement, as well as for the reclamation and recycling of defective products. By removing shelf oils such as epoxy, acrylic, and silicone from temporary fixings and adhesives through cleaning, it is possible to process large batches and improve yields, as well as recycle and reuse defective products. Descaling solution
(Energy Conversion Efficiency Recovery Chemicals)
The removal of dirt from heat exchangers and other machines that convert energy is important from the perspective of maintaining energy conversion efficiency and saving energy. For example, it is known that cleaning the aluminum fins of heat exchangers in residential air conditioners can restore heat conversion efficiency by 10% or more, and that cleaning air conditioner filters can reduce power consumption by 40% or more. Against this background, scale contamination adhering to heat exchangers causes a reduction in heat exchange efficiency, so periodic removal is necessary. However, it is difficult to remove stubborn scale contamination without damaging the heat exchanger, and in many cases, the heat exchanger must be physically removed due to concerns that damage may occur to the fins and other parts of the heat exchanger. There are several methods to confirm whether the removal of the target fat has been completed by cleaning. In this example, the cleanability is confirmed by the rate of decrease in surface wettability (contact angle). While washing with water at 70°C does not change the contact angle at all, the NAGASE cleaning solution significantly reduces the contact angle and removes the target fat (dirt). NAGASE's precision cleaning solution does not damage the heat exchanger base material and can selectively remove only inorganic scale stains containing various components such as calcium.
