Adhesion
"Adhesion" refers to the degree of adhesion between the substrate and the coating film, and is an indicator of the coating film's resistance to peeling.
It varies greatly depending on the compatibility of the coating film and the substrate. It can be improved by improving the composition of the coating film or by surface treatment of the base material.
Evaluation is generally done by the crosscut test.
