Antistatic
To make a substance less susceptible to charging.
When a substance is charged, it tries to return to an unbiased state of charge by passing through various objects it comes into contact with. However, since insulators such as plastics do not conduct electricity well, it is difficult for them to return to an unbalanced state and they are easily charged.
By coating them with conductors, coating them with surfactants to collect moisture on their surfaces, and other processes that make it easier for electricity to pass through them, we can create a state in which they are less likely to become charged.
