Features
We offer solutions for the following problems.
Dust sticks to the products due to static electricity
Static electricity caused by peeling off the film damages the products
Possibility of sparks/ignition when the film is peeled off
Products build up static electricity when they are being used, which causes frequent malfunctions
Transparency
Just 0.03 µm thick, transparent film
With its high conductivity and advanced leveling properties, it exhibits sufficient antistatic properties (surface resistivity of 104 to 1010 Ω/sq) even in nano-level ultra-thin films. High transparency can be maintained for use in optical films. Low cost due to small amount used.
Conductivity independent of humidity
Even at low temperatures and 20% RH
These are less expensive and widely used. But, they may not work well in a cleanroom where humidity is low because their mechanism for discharging electricity relies on ionic conduction through the absorption of water (moisture) near the surface of the material.
General purpose process
Just apply and dry to prevent static electricity.
Suitable for various general-purpose wet coaters such as gravure coaters and die coaters.
Use DENATRON that is highly diluted with alcohol for easier drying. Add antistatic properties to your products yet maintain high productivity.
Ecology
Water-based coating agent that is friendly to both people and the environment.
Aqueous or water and alcohol based coating solutions are used for coatings with low environmental impact.
Taking advantage of the water-based feature, it can be adapted to eco-friendly in-line coating processes, where heat used during film production is also used for drying the coating. It can follow film stretching.
Applications
-
Antistatic film
-
Antistatic packaging tray
-
EMI/ESD Shield
Spec comparison between Type-P and Type-C
Type-P … DENATRON Type-P is the conductive coating materials based on “PEDOT/PSS” which is the polythiophene type of conductive polymer, and giving the excellent conductivity with high transparency. Also, for that high stability, it could be added the function from various choices of many addutives.
Type-C … DENATRON Type-C is the conductive coating materials based on “Nano Carbon” which is the carbon nanotube or graphene. It could be used in a variety of applications due to that excellent conductive durability.
Coating Process
Process from liquid preparation to coating and measurement.
